Riddle High School Freshmen Honor Fallen Heroes
Saturday, 12/14/24, eight Riddle High School freshman boys volunteered their time to participate in the Wreaths Across America wreath-laying ceremony, honoring our nation’s fallen soldiers. These young men spent the day placing wreaths on the graves of veterans, demonstrating respect, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for those who served.
As their Football Coach, health teacher—and a 20-year U.S. Army veteran—I was incredibly proud to see these students embrace the mission to Remember the Fallen, Honor Those Who Serve, and Teach the Value of Freedom. Their selfless act not only honored the sacrifices of others but also set an inspiring example of leadership and service for their peers.
It was a powerful reminder that even small gestures can have a lasting impact. These young men embodied the very best of our community, proving that the next generation values the freedoms we all cherish.
